In both Ancient Egyptian and Eastern traditions, the shadow is far more than just a psychological concept that has been popularized by Carl Jung. There are specific practices in advanced alchemy and Eastern magic that use the shadow in various applications and methods.

In addition to classes on all three keys of Hermeticism: astrology, alchemy and theurgy ("god-working" magic) , we also explore the sacred sciences more deeply. Topics include cosmology, the interconnections of ancient wisdom traditions with modern science, magical and astrological correspondences, and more.

The Mysteries communicate through Symbol and a thorough understanding of symbolism and correspondence is necessary to fully understand astrology, alchemy, magic and ritual. The symbols may seem to change from tradition to tradition or culture to culture, but in essence they are the same. 

Each planet in our solar system has its own sacred cycle, and comes with its own inner mysteries and initiatory ordeals and crises. Some of these topics will be explored and suggestions on how to initiate a deeper relationship with these planetary cycles directly and connect to certain stars and celestial influences will be given.

In many of our classes we explore the ancient rites found in the mystery traditions and discuss the symbolism that relates directly to astrology, alchemy, and celestial ascent through the various realms & levels of existence.

Gnosis is the Ancient Greek word for sacred knowledge which comes through direct experience or divine revelation. The ancient Gnostic perspective on the planets and celestial cosmology is explored as well as how to have personal and direct experiences through mystic practice or shamanic methods.
